Old U.S. paper money, worth more than face value
Silver certificates, star notes, red-seal twos, gold certificates, and large-size notes — much of the paper money tucked in family safes carries collector value well beyond its face. We evaluate condition, series, and serial rarities note by note, with a preference for pre-1934 currency, and explain exactly what drives each valuation.

Common questions
Is my old paper money worth more than face value?
Often, yes. Silver certificates, star notes, red seals, and earlier series frequently carry collector premiums — condition and rarity decide how much. Bring it in and we'll go through it note by note.
What condition does currency need to be in?
Any condition is worth evaluating. Crisp, uncirculated notes bring the strongest premiums, but scarce series and star notes hold value even when worn.
Do you buy modern bills?
Generally we focus on pre-1934 and collectible currency — but fancy serial numbers and star notes from later series can carry value too. When in doubt, send a photo with your inquiry.
I found currency in an estate — where do I start?
Bring everything as-is, unsorted. We regularly work through estate accumulations, separate the collectible from the spendable, and explain each call as we make it.
